2025 was a big year for ReciPal!

From major product upgrades to brand-new offerings and educational resources, this year was all about making nutrition labeling and inventory management faster, easier, and more flexible for the businesses that rely on us every day.

  • Barcodes – Generate barcodes within ReciPal and customize them for your label.

Inventory, Reporting, and History Improvements

  • Inventory Management Redesign
    A fully revamped, mobile-friendly interface designed to work beautifully on any screen — plus updated tutorial videos.
  • Automated Spec Sheets
    Download a clean, one-page report with unrounded nutrition data per serving and per 100g.
  • Recipe History Comments
    Add context to recipe and pricing history changes by leaving comments explaining why updates were made.

✨ Little Wins That Add Up

Not every improvement gets a big announcement, but these smaller upgrades made everyday work smoother:

  • Condensed View – Reduce white space and fit more information on screen.
  • Set MSRP Directly in Costing – Enter your target price and let ReciPal calculate margins.
  • Auto-Tagging – Automatically tag blank recipes and identify sub-recipes at a glance.
  • Enhanced Search Display – See brand and calorie information when searching for ingredients.

🧩 New Offerings

AI Chat Support

We continue to prioritize human-led support, but during off hours we added best-in-class AI chat to quickly surface answers from our knowledge base.

Personal Nutrition Plans

We introduced an affordable plan designed for individuals using ReciPal to manage their own personal nutrition — all the essentials, without the complexity of a business workflow.

Connect With an Expert

Some customers wanted hands-on help in real time. This new 1:1 video conferencing option allows users to work side by side with a ReciPal expert to overcome obstacles and get answers fast.

Jack Scotti is the director of marketing at ReciPal. Prior to joining the team he was a founder of Story2, an edtech company that teaches people how to advocate for themselves through the neuroscience of storytelling. One of the first activities in any Story2 workshop was to share a memorable meal story. So even before working in the food industry, he got to experience the amazing way food connects us all.
