Add Your Logo Directly to Nutrition Labels

Posted on July 11, 2025 by

Creating professional food labels just got even easier. ReciPal now lets you add a logo directly to your nutrition label, giving you a way to keep your entire labeling workflow in one place.

Whether you’re printing labels at home or sending them to a professional printer, this new feature helps food businesses save time, streamline operations, and stay consistent with their branding.

Why Add Logos Inside ReciPal?

Outside of the nutritional panel, most packaging design happens outside of ReciPal. Graphic designers often leverage Adobe Illustrator's powerful tools, DIYers opt for Canva's templates, and anyone printing labels can use Avery’s WePrint design tool to piece all the elements together. But with all those options out there, many ReciPal users still wanted a simple way to add their logo directly in our platform. And now they can!

Use cases

  • ✅ Simple Label Design — For certain types of products, a minimalist label design is all that's needed. In these cases our logo feature makes ReciPal a one stop shop.
    • Meal prep labels
    • Grab-and-go items
    • Pop up events and farmers markets
  • ✅ Asset Management — This feature lets you connect your logo assets to your nutrition labels, keeping everything organized and easy to find (even if you have a separate packaging design).
  • ✅ Product R&D — If you want to test out a product before moving on to more sophisticated packaging design this feature lets you quickly create a branded and professional looking label.

How to Add a Logo in ReciPal

Adding a logo to your label is simple:

  1. Go to your Label Page
  2. Open the “Label Sections” dropdown
  3. Uncheck “Hide logo”
  4. Click “Manage logo” to upload your image

Menu

From there, either drop your logo or click to browse your files. ReciPal supports most file types including: PNG, SVG, JPG, JPEG, WebP, PDF, AI, and PSD.

Preview

Note: Adobe file types like .ai and .psd may work best when exported as SVG or PNG.

Once uploaded, you can:

  • Adjust the scale of your logo
  • Modify the padding between your logo and nutrition panel
  • Reuse previously uploaded logos across multiple recipes

Label

📌 Note: Logos are placed at the top of the label and can't extend beyond the width of the nutrition panel.

Build Complete Labels—Faster

Between the new logo upload feature and our built-in barcode generator, ReciPal now gives you even more power to create complete, compliant, and branded nutrition labels—without switching tools.
