Updated Ingredient Key Icons

Posted on September 24, 2021 by

We've been going through a major redesign of ReciPal. We started with the public pages (you might have noticed that) and are now going through the in-app pages of our nutrition label maker one screen at a time. The goal is to make things easier to read and navigate on both desktop and mobile.

One of the first small projects inside the recipe screens has been to update the icons for the ingredient key to our new icon set. So don't be alarmed that now what you're seeing to distinguish between the USDA, the verified, the unverified, and your own custom ingredients looks different. Nothing's changed with the ingredients themselves, just the icons.

This is mostly a behind-the-scenes project to clean things up and make the site more efficient. There will be more of that happening and more design related changes to come! As always, let us know what you think.
