Subrecipe Improvements, Volume VIII

Posted on January 19, 2017 by Lev

One of our favorite parts of ReciPal, and something everyone should be aware of, is subrecipes. They allow you use recipes in other recipes, making your life much easier when multiple recipes use the same base or components.

Unique Channel Margins Per Recipe

When we added margins as a feature to product costing on ReciPal, we set it up so that they would update across all recipes. That meant if you updated the distributor margin for one recipe, the margin would be saved across all your recipes. Since most companies use the same distributor for their products, it was reasonable to assume the same margins across all your products and keep everything simple.

We try to make it easy to set the business address on your labels (and have written before about properly setting the business address on your food labels). But things can get a little more complicated if you want the address field blank, need to change the address, or wind up with a few different addresses cropping up in different places.
