With all the new requirements around sugar, we've got sugar-related issues on our minds. So we've made it easier to deal with sugar alcohols in ReciPal. They are now tracked in ingredients, so there's a field for them in the custom ingredient form and an option to add them to your labels under the Optional Nutrients form.


New FDA Record Keeping Rules

As part of the new rules for nutrition labels, the FDA has added requirements for keeping records. Food manufacturers take note: you now have to take notes. You have to make and keep written records to support certain information that is included in your nutrition panels.
