Nutrition Labels for Graphic Designers

Posted on October 08, 2014 by

For our paid accounts there's been a distinction for a while between single accounts and group accounts with multiple members.

Working With Designers

One thing we've seen is that food businesses often have one person in charge of creating recipes (and entering them on ReciPal) and another person doing label design and graphics. It's often a pain in the neck to send the right label format to that graphics person, so we wanted to simplify that process.

Read-Only Access

Now regular subscribers can add other people to their account, providing read-only access. Read-only means they won't be able to change your recipes, but they can view labels as necessary, get them in the right format and save them without having to bug you. It might also save some headaches when one person is on a PC and the other is on a Mac.

You can add a read-only member to your account from your "Settings" page.

As the read-only member, you'll be able to see the accounts you're a member of via the "Linked Accounts" tab once you're logged in. You'll be able to view the label page of each recipe, and that should be all you need.

Feedback?

Thoughts? Feedback?

One thing we'd like to do in the future is provide this functionality to all users, whether they are subscribers or not, but that will take a little more work, and we'd like to test it out a little bit first before opening it up site-wide. What do you think?
