Unique Channel Margins Per Recipe

When we added margins as a feature to product costing on ReciPal, we set it up so that they would update across all recipes. That meant if you updated the distributor margin for one recipe, the margin would be saved across all your recipes. Since most companies use the same distributor for their products, it was reasonable to assume the same margins across all your products and keep everything simple.

Rearranging Ingredients In Your Recipe

When you're editing a recipe, the default order for ingredients is the order in which you added them. Usually that's fine, but sometimes you want to switch it up. Maybe you want them ordered by when they go into the recipe, or maybe you want to group ingredients by type, or maybe you have something else you want to see.

Tagging Ingredients and Recipes

Staying organized is always important, especially when you're dealing with lots of information. For a while it wasn't the most straightforward process to keep your recipes and ingredients organized in ReciPal's nutrition label maker - the best method was to add keywords in your recipes and search by those keywords. It was actually quite practical, but not entirely intuitive.

Improved Ingredient Search

One of the main interactions in ReciPal's nutrition label maker is creating a recipe, which means searching for ingredients and adding them as part of your recipe. Part of that is the autocomplete feature helping you out as you type, and part of that is the actual search when you hit the "Search" button.
