ReciPal on the Food Biz Wiz Podcast

Posted on October 28, 2021 by

We spent some time chatting with Alli Ball of the Food Biz Wiz Podcast and the episode is live!

We talked about the genesis of ReciPal and why it was necessary for helping scrappy food businesses create their own nutrition labels, and then got into the nitty gritty of nutrition labeling - the rules, the process, common questions, why it shouldn't be so intimidating for a food business, and more.

Check it out - it's only 30 minutes and we promise you'll learn something.

Food Biz Wiz Podcast

Food Biz Wiz® is a podcast for emerging brands in the packaged food industry. Hosted by former grocery buyer, head of grocery & store manager, Alli Ball, this weekly podcast will provide behind-the-scenes insight on launching, growing, and scaling your CPG business.

In getting to know Alli, we realized we had a lot in common in our philosophies about starting and growing food companies. We think we even crossed paths a full decade+ ago when I was trying to get SlantShack Jerky into Bi-Rite, where she was the grocery buyer. Small, small world!

Definitely check out her podcast even if you don't care for the ReciPal episode. There is a ton of useful information from Alli herself as well as her expert guests. It's the go to podcast for packaged food businesses.

As always, let us know what you think in the comments below or reach out!
