ReciPal in Local Food Lab

Posted on December 20, 2013 by

We recently became part of a neat community called Local Food Lab, which is for people and companies involved in the the "Good Food Movement".

You can create a portfolio for yourself (or your business) to showcase how you are involved in food and allow others to learn about your story. They have farms, food label designers, food consultants, food companies, and all kinds of interesting people on there.

They were kind enough to let us do a guest post on food packaging, including requirements (as we've discussed on our own blog), and other things to think about when creating your packaging and labeling. Check out the interview and let us know what you think.

A Great Resource and More To Come

Take a look at Local Food Lab, the blog, and maybe even create your own portfolio. We've already learned a lot and made a few great friends through their community and blog.

They have a couple of particularly great posts on finding a co-packer and the pop-up concept for food businesses. We'll slowly be introducing some of these friends and resources to you - they're helping out small food businesses in ways that we can't, so we think together we can help make your businesses happen.
