When you're building a recipe in ReciPal, the goal is usually to get an accurate nutrition label. Since all the numbers that show up on the label are coming from the recipe, we thought it might be really helpful if you could see the recipe and the label together at the same time, rather than having to switch between two pages.
The New Look
So we've added a label preview to the lower right corner of the recipe page:
Now you can see the information in the label update in real time as you build and change your recipes. You'll see exactly what changes when you adjust ingredients, amounts, waste percentages, net weight, packages per recipe, and servings per package.
We hope this:
- Makes it easier to understand how everything is related between the recipe and label and
- Helps you diagnose issues as they arise rather than waiting until you're on the label page itself.
All of the customization of the label still happens on the label page, which you can get to directly by clicking the "customize it" link above the preview or by using the regular navigation tabs at the top of the page.
We're really excited about this addition to our nutrition label maker, but let us know what you think in the comments below!
